BLCGA Spring Competition 24th April 2011

Congratulations to Leanne Wilson(19) who won the silver handicap prize with a net 69 at Torwoodlee Golf Club today.
Three girls have qualified for the finals at The Roxburghe on the 7/8th May
Danielle Ker with an 85 qualified 8th, Tara MacTaggart had a 87, she qualified 11th and Leanne with a gross 88 qualified 13th.

SLGA U16 Open Strokeplay Championship

After a tense finish at Strathmore, England's Bronte Law beat Wales' Chloe Williams at the 3rd extra playoff hole after both finished on 143 after the regulation 36 holes.

Local girls Tara Mactaggart (Minto), Danielle Ker and Leanne Wilson (both Kelso) are all playing at Strathmore on Thursday and Friday this week. Hope you all play your best and good luck to you all.

The annual match between the South girls and Ayrshire girls was held on 20th March at Portpatrick Dunskey.  It was a competitive match with the South finishing the victors

The South team to play West at Portpatrick Dunskey on Sunday 20th March includes 2 girls from the Borders, Tara Mactaggart (Minto) and Danielle Ker (Roxburghe) join Rachel Walker and Katie McCracken from Dumfries and Katie and Vicky Wright from Galloway.  First tee 11.10am.
