Scottish Girls at Crail

Lauren Whyte wins the Scottish Girls at Crail beating Ailsa Summers 4&2

After a brilliant quarter final win against Jessica Meek Rachel Walker's run in the Scottish girls has come to an end after losing at the final hole in the semi's against Lauren Whyte who will now play Ailsa Summers tomorrow in the final

Only Rachel Walker left in the quarters she won 7&5. She plays Jessica Meek who beat Katie Wright 6&5.

That's Katie Wright (2 holes) and Rachel Walker (4&2) through to the next round in the championship.‎

2nd round cancelled at Crail. Match play draw decided on first round scores. In the main championship Emma Kennedy plays Lesley Atkins the winner of that plays either Dani Ker or Eva OConnor. Rachel Walker plays Linsey Stevenson. Katie Wright plays Eilidh Watson and the winner of that tie plays Tara Mactaggart or Jessica Meek. All the above ties in top half of draw only member of south girls in bottom half is Mirren Fraser who will be playing Hannah Scott.

SOSGGA Summer Medal

Eight girls played today at the Dumfries & Galloway which was so much dryer than those across in the Borders in the SOSGGA summer medal.  
Tara Mactaggart played lovely golf to win with a net 71,  Leanne Wilson was runner up with a net 73.  Danielle Ker won the scratch with a gross 82.  (CSS71)
