In brutal conditions at Kelso today, Tara MacTaggart won the Border Ladies championship qualifier with a 78-4=74. This means that she was leading qualifier for the County Championships to be held at The Roxburghe on 12/13th May, Tara will play Shiela Leifer in the first round, 5th qualifier Danielle Ker will play county captain Gillian Oliver.
Congratulations also go to Amy Martin and Rhea Middlemas who both qualified for the bronze championships, Amy plays no 1 seed Lucille Paterson, Rhea plays Kath Fletcher.
